Co-founder Marcus, coming from Sweden to Toronto for a career opportunity, experienced the challenges of limited furnished monthly housing options and the pressure to secure a comfortable place in a new country.
Marcus's struggles illuminated a gap in the housing market, leading to the creation of Guardian REI.
